This summer my nephew Soni came to spend a little time with Grandma and Grandpa and see friends! It was so good to see him! We have missed all of the kids and Lelah a lot. Elizabeth LOVED Soni. All she could talk about when he was here was going to play with "my Soni". He was such a good buddy to play with. Just like his Grandpa he did what ever she wanted to do! Thanks buddy for playing and loving Elizabeth so much!

Natrona County Fair

Ok blog friends here is an update of the summer and the start of the fall. Ive put it off all summer so the next few post will be what happened this summer.

Every year there's the fair and rodeo. Luke and I like to go and have a date night and just watch the people and the rodeo. This year we went on out date and then Elizabeth and I had a date to the rodeo. We had a blast! Elizabeth didn't stop talking about the horse and the cows for days after we went. She was also very much convinced that she was going to ride a horse just like the Cowboys. She did such a wonderful job sitting still and watching all of the action...she got like 5 complements on how well she did!

Temple 2008

June 2008 Luke and I went to the Billings Temple to be ceiled. It was a wonderful day! My friend Holly took the pictures and got them to me this last June so this post is a little over due. Oh well such is life! We just want to thank our family and friends that help celebrate that wonderful day with us! We love you all!

Trip to the Falls

One Saturday in July we had a family day and went up to the falls on Casper Mountain. I wasn't very happy with the ideas but I'm glad we went. Elizabeth and Luke loved being out side and able to relax a little. Luke took Elizabeth over to see the falls. She didn't like it cause of the mist.

She will always find a good rock pile to play in.

Update on life

Ok here is an update on life. We've enjoyed going out to the lake and swimming! Elizabeth loves being able to run in and out of the water. She loves to play in the sand! We are still working on potty training so we take her potty with us and she goes where ever she has to go. At the lake or up on the mountain. She hasn't gotten the idea of not pottying in her potty.

She loves the water. If we let her she would stay out at the lake every day all day long. We don't get to spend a lot of time out there but when we do its for hours. It wonderful time that we spend together!

In beginning of July I went to the doctors to have my ultrasound. We loved seeing the baby and finding out that its a boy. He will be named Noah John. We are every excited to be parents to both of our children. Elizabeth loves the pictures we have of Noah. She loves sharing them with anybody and everybody that she can.

This pregnancie has been really hard on my body. So when ever I hurt Elizabeth hurts. When ever mom needs ice she needs ice. So she loves laying down with the ice bag on her back like mom! Its so funny!

Elizabeth and I went to Casper annual parade this month. She had so much fun watching the floats and people. She was very spoiled by other people giving her candy. I wouldn't let her get out there with the rest of the kids and get right out there for candy. She did wonderful in the hot sun for along time!

Other news....we are going to be making a huge life change in January. I am very excited for it to come. I will tell you more details closer to the date. I also got a new camera as my other one got cracked somehow. That's all for know! Love you all lots!

This was the first family fishing trip. Luke has a really good friend that went with us. Elizabeth didn't catch any fish but her daddy did. She held the fish for about 5 seconds and then she was done! We had so much fun! We plan on going again sometime soon!

Trip To Colorado

The middle of May we went to my high school friends college graduation and spent a few days with her and her boy friend. While we were there we did a lot of fun activities. A few afternoons

we went to a couple of parks. Elizabeth had so much fun playing with Marissa and Will. Having them at her beck and call was the best part of being there for her. We also did a craft one afternoon. It was so much fun to see them and be able to spend a few days with them!

After spending time with them we went to my dad's house for a few days. It was a good visit. Just having time to relax and do a lot
of nothing was fun. Getting ready to go to my moms!

After Dad's house we went to my mom's house for the rest of the time we were in Colorado. My sister flew in from Arizona for my cousin's graduation and memorial day. We had a lot of fun times with her! Glad she was able to come! The first weekend at my mom's house we went to my uncles house for Tara's graduation. For the most part it was a good weekend. A lot of traveling in a short amount of time was the only down fall.

The next week went by fast. We went to my mom's work and helped her finish the school year and pack her room. We also spent a lot of time with my sister. Elizabeth loves her aunt so so much! Glad we have her as a sister and an aunt.

At the end of the week we went to my grandpas house. I'm glad we went! It was a wonderful time spending Friday with my pa all by himself! We had a wonderful visit. Saturday my Grandpa had water in the ditch. SO at 7:30 am Elizabeth was in her swimming suit and was in the water all day long. She finally got out of the water around 6:00ish or so. She had such a wonderful time!
Sunday we went back over to my uncles house to go over to the cemetery that my grandma in buried in. It was a wonderful time but a very hard time. Memorial day is always hard and being pregnant it was even harder. It is always a bitter sweet time seeing her! Miss her like crazy!

After that weekend it was finally time to come home! I had a wonderful time at my mom's but it was so nice to come home and sleep in my own bed and see Luke!

Mother's Day and Spring 2010

This is the start of our spring. At the end of April I had my first Drs. appointment for the baby and got a due date and pictures. Our due date in the 26th of November, but due to a C-section the baby will be born a week before that 26th. I can't even believe that we will be going through that again. I tried really hard to be able to try to have the baby naturally but due to the unknown reason of why I couldn't with Elizabeth the Dr. said "nope I don't think so." I'm a little sad about it but that's whats best for me and the baby so that's what goes.

Elizabeth has a new found love for band aids. She had to put one on everything and anything that she bumps or hits. It doesn't matter what it is hair, her butt, her lips. She gets it from my sister, her yeayea. If I let her should would have a whole box of band aids out and on her. We've gone through like 4 boxes in the last 4 months. I better start buying stock in the brand. She came out of the bathroom tonight and said "look mom band aid." She shows me her head and there is a Dora band aid in her hair where she bumped her head. Gotta love her!

For Mother's Day on Friday, Luke and Elizabeth took me out for dinner on Friday and my favorite restaurant. We had a wonder time being a family together forever. I was a wonderful time to celebrate being a mom. We came home and Elizabeth made me a card and she and Luke went and got me roses. After all was said and done it was a wonderful way to celebrate having my family.

The start of the weekend just stunk. I had the stomach flu and a horrible headache. So I spent most of the weekend in bed. Sunday I felt better but not wonderful so I decided not to spread all of my germs with my family at church so we didn't go. I slept most of Sunday. Luke then took us out to the lake to get some air. We had so much fun! After all we had a pretty good weekend.

So Luke and I got in the car and start to pull out, boy was she mad. I think it taught her that when we say lets go we mean lets go.

Easter this year didn't seem like it was Easter at all. From traveling to coming home the week of Easter we didn't have any time to do any little activities for Easter. The pictures aren't in order...

Trip to my sister's

Here is my blog on my trip to my sister's house. It started out with a few days at my dads! It was fun cause Luke got to spend a few days in Denver with us. It was way fun!!! Elizabeth loves her Papa and Nana. She was so excited to see them. Then my dad took me up to my moms house cause I didn't have the car. At moms house I got things going for the trip. While getting ready I had a wonderful day with my friend Marissa and her sister Liz (Elizabeth). My Elizabeth loves them and was not happy to see they leave. It was a wonderful time catching with with such wonderful friends!

Its the day to leave and we wanted to leave like 6:00 which is just to early for my bones but I was up and ready to go before my mother was, which doesn't happen to often. We were in the car and on our way around 6:45. It was snowing like no other but that wasn't going to stop us from going to the warm and sunny AZ!!! Our trip through the rest of Colorado and New Mexico was slow going because of the snow. Oncw we got into AZ, it want fast. We spent a night in Hollbrook, AZ which is about 4ish hours from my sisters. We stop in Flagstaff and looked around and then headed on to my sisters house. We did a lot to swimming and site seeing.

We had a wonderful time seeing all sort of wonderful things while at my sisters. We had a lot of laughs and fun time with my sister and my mom and grandpa. Elizabeth had so much fun with all of the family and all of the things that she got to do that she wouldn't get to at home, chewing gum. After a long trip I am very glad to be home and getting back into the swing of life!

A New Baby in the Linford Family

Once again there is going to be a new baby in the Linford family! This time its Luke and I. Yes that's what I said. Luke and I are pregnant with baby number 2. We are so excited! I am about 5 weeks along! I have my first appointment the 27th of April. From what a due date calculator my due date should be around the 26th of November! We can't wait. We have so much to do between now and then so we better get on them and get them done!

So glad to hear that my friend Holly is cancer free!!! Hope the rest of her family gets better soon!

Had a wonderful time on my vacation!!! Glad to be home and getting back to the swing of life!!!! Will post pictures and more later!!!

Weekend in Denver

This weekend we went to Denver to drop Elizabeth and me off with my dad. This is just the begining of my trip. We had so much fun! Saturday we went and watch my dad work with his high school students compete with their robot. It was way fun. We weren't able to stay long because Elizabeth was having a cranky moment and was done with the robots! After the robots we went to some of the malls in Denver area to find me some pants for my Arizona trip. After a long day of looking I finally found some at the last store. By the we were done shopping my dad was done with the robots and we went and had dinner.

In the middle of our shopping Luke and I came upon the Denver Temple. It was a very nice time out to shopping. We got lost trying to find it but eventually found it. We weren't prepaired to go in so we just looked at the grounds and took pictures! It was such an awsome time with the family!

Sunday the weekend was over. My dad and stepmom brought Elizabeth and me back to their house in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Luke went back to Casper. We had such a fun time with our family and my parents.

This week we have just hung around my dads house. My stepmom had been really sick so we haven't done much which is totally ok. Tuesday night we went out with my cousin Brooke and her boyfriends. It we way fun cause I haven't seen her since our grandma past away in 2001. It was nice to see her and what she is up to these days. She is in the Army and will be deploying in July 2010 for a year, it was a much needed visit!

Wednesday Elizabeth and i are going to my mom's house. And on Friday we will be on our way to Arizona to see my sister! So excited!!!

Family news and the Linford's first snow man

This week has been full. With being sick, getting ready for our trip, being a mom and a wife. I'm finally getting well I hope. I've gotten all of our stuff for our trip I hope if not I'll have to get it later. Being a mom is a huge part of my life. I wouldn't change it for the world!!! I love being a mom and I am so ready for baby 2. Some day I hope! Being a wife is rewarding. Lucas is know sick and I have a chance to take care of him life he does when I am sick. It brings smiles to my face.

It has snowed in Casper and it was a nice wet snow so we got to get out and play in it a little. We made our first snow man as a family and Elizabeth's first in here life! We had so much fun just being able to be outside and able to run and breath the wonderful air! Here are a few pictures.

THERES A NEW BABY COMING TO THE FAMILY!!! No its not me yet but it is my amazing sister-in-law Heidi. A s you may or may not know they have Issac who is 4 i think and the twins Emma and Elli who will be 2 in June. The will be having baby number 4 in September. I am so excited to have a new baby in the family. Heidi is a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter! We Love you guys so much!!!!

Cheese, Cheese, Cheese

Can we say Mac and Cheese any more. Elizabeth is on this huge Mac and Cheese kick. Thats what she wants to eat at every meal. Or maybe its just cheese. She eats it at every meal. She breaks the bank with her cheese habit!. You gotta lover her though, she eating and that good!

Last week was just a week. Elizabeth had her best of her worst 2 year old moments. She finally got over her cold and cough. Thursday we got our taxes done, which is wonderful cause I was stressing out about them. I started cutting out hearts for clovers for st patty's day. We will do the rest of them this week. Saturday we went looking for a bigger car, and we found one that we liked but we can't it cause we can't afford a higher payment, so we didn't get it. Sunday we tried to get out of the house before church and that's what we did....we locked our selves out of the house, so we missed church. So we went for a nice drive out to the lake and had a wonderful time playing around at the lake. I seem to have miss placed the camera so no pictures. Hope to find it soon so I can have pictures for us on our trip to AZ to see my sister.

Valintine's Day Fun

OK so I had this cool plan of doing something fun with hearts every day of the week. We started off Monday painting and having so much fun. Tuesday came and we had a heart dinner. Elizabeth loved it. It was made with all of her favorite foods that could be cut into hearts. And then Wednesday came and I got sick so we didn't do much of anything. Thursday came along and I was still sick and so Brenda took her and went to play group, and spent lots of time with grandma and mom slept all day long! Friday she got to open her Valentine's day present from my mom and she loved it. Saturday we went shopping and hung out and watched Lazarus. Today, Sunday we spent it being sick and cleaning. She got to open her present from us and she loved it cause she got new bath toys and a playdoh tool. So it kind of turned out to be a good week.

This year I asked for good pictures of Elizabeth and the family for Christmas. My amazing husband came through and we got our pictures done at Sears Photo in the mall here in Casper. It was fun but a lot of work. I picked the wrong time of day to take Elizabeth to get her pictures done, at night before dinner I think. She was feed before we went but it wasn't enough. We have some pictures that have gummy wrappers in them. Over all I love the pictures and am so grateful to have a willing family to do them for me!

Last week was a not so good week. Elizabeth and I were both sick through out the week. Its been hard. It just stinks when you can't help your little one feel better. Last week I started watching two boys of my friend. That's been hard to because there are 3 under 3. Elizabeth also hasn't been very keen on the idea of having other kids at the house. If it continues I'm going to have to stop watching them.

Saturdays we've been having dinner with my friends. Its been nice being able to sit down and have a dinner with them and then watching the kids be kids. I haven't laughed this hard in a long long time! Gotta love kids!

Elizabeth stared not wanting to go to bed at bed time. We have a child with her own mind. One night she wouldn't go to bed. She was in her room and doing something, we could hear her. The next we heard was her knocking on the door. We let her out and this is what she came out in. The next 45 minutes were her running around the living room, dancing. It was so funny.

So I was looking at my post and realized that i hadn't really done a post for Christmas. The holiday season started with Elizabeth turning 2! Can you believe that my little sweet girl is 2! It just seems like yesterday Luke and I got married and found out that I was pregnant. 2 years later I have a very smart, fun, loving daughter that loves to go, go, go all the time. She keeps me on my toes and very busy. Her birthday was very good. We had a cooking party for her. She had a blast playing with her kitchen with her little friends McKinley and Grant! They had a blast being cooks!

After her birthday Elizabeth and I went to my moms house for 2 weeks. We had so much fun being able to see Grandma, PaPa, Yeayea, Papa and Nana. We had lost to do to get ready for Christmas. We helped my mom get things ready. On Christmas Eve we had lots of fun with celebrating Elizabeth's birthday with Grandma, Yeayea,Papa, Marissa and her mom Ann. We had a lot of fun! Then it was Christmas Day. Elizabeth didn't get up until 8:30ish. She really didn't get the whole idea of Christmas but Yeayea helped open her stocking. We eat breakfast and then opened the presents. It took for ever. We spoiled Elizabeth and so did every one else. Next year we are going to let others spoil her. She had a blast! After we opened presents than we had dinner. It was wonderful! Thanks Mom!!!!!!

Saturday we threw a party for my sister. She finished school!!!! YEA YEA YEA. My Uncle Steven, Tara, Morgan and Pincho (the dog who's name is Poncho) came for her party. Elizabeth had so much fun with her cousins and the dog. It was wonderful to have the whole family with each other! That about sums up our holiday season!

Sledding

Snow Snow Come Again So We Can Go Sledding Again. The past few Saturdays we have gone up to Casper Mountain and went sledding with Elizabeth. Luke took her to the top of the hill and went down with her and she just screamed. It was sad:( She just cried and cried. Then she was very much into watching other kids going down the hill. She was way excited to see Daddy go down the hill. "More dad More" were what Elizabeth would tell Luke after he got down the hill. She went down a couple other times and then she was done. She does not like the big hill. The next time we went we took her down the very bottom of the hill and she loves it! She waves her hands and says "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" I'm so glad that she likes going down the little part of the hill!

2010- New Year New Choices!

Happy New Years to all of the people that read my blog. I haven't written in along time. A lot has happened. Thanksgiving went well...had fun seeing family and enjoyed hanging out with them. Elizabeth turned 2! She got a kitchen and lots of food and pots. She loves it and plays it all the time. It is a great blessing to have it. Christmas went well. Went to my moms for two weeks and had fun. We all got spoiled but Elizabeth made it out very well. Lucas and I have been married 3 years and have enjoyed most of those 3 years with him. Life is going pretty well.

2010 hopefully be a lot easier but not any time soon it seems. This year we hope to have another baby. We also hope to get out of some debt. Sometime this year we want to go see Lucas' Grandma. I also hopefully will finish school.

One Car Family

So Luke and I tried buying a new car. Well I got a phone call today saying the dealership needs to have the car back because the bank wont fund the loan. So that means we will be a one car family for awhile. It is going very interesting to see if we can do it. I wont be getting a job unless its at night which I don't want to do but it might have to be that way.

So I took Elizabeth to my moms house last weekend. She is having some much needed grandma time. Its been very good for Luke and me but I miss her very much. I miss her voice and her laugh and changing her diapers. I'm not sure when she is going to be back but its a very good thing that she is having the time she needs and the time we need to get life"back to normal" if that's possible.

So Luke and I are now sealed and are a eternal family. It is the best feeling in the world! Know that your family will be able to live together in the after life! The Billings Temple is so beautiful. I can't put words to it! If you haven't been to the temple please strive to get there. Your life will be different after you visit for the first time. In my life after we went to the temple life is at peace. Luke and I aren't fighting as much and it feels great!

Tomarrow is a big day for my husband and me. We are getting sealed in the Billings Montana Temple. I am very excited but at the same time I am very nervous. I have no clue what to expect so yeah. I am very greatful for a very good friend of mine who came to the resuce for me. If it wasn't for here I think I woudln't be doing this tomarrow. Family life on both sides of the family it's wonderful which makes things that more stressful. I want everyone to be there for us and just give us one day that is all ours but that will never happen. It's always about someone else and it drives me nuts! All we are asking for is one day. Is that too much to ask for?
